西安是一座有着悠久历史文化遗产的城市,中国历史上成就辉煌的时代几乎都建都西安,西安被人们称为是一部活的史书。记载着古往今来的风流佳话，名人轶事，历经千年沧桑，前后经历了13个朝代，73个皇帝，使它变得神奇而富有魅力，来到这里学习、旅游、观光，目睹秦王朝统一六国的伟业，汉帝国博大的疆城，唐帝国的繁荣与昌盛，这一切值得每个中国人为之自豪。

　　 西安博爱国际学校建于1997年，学校位于西安北郊现代农业开发区内，占地200亩，建筑面积3万多平方米，校舍宏大，设施一流，所有房间均装有空调，学生宿舍有卫生间，是经国家正式批准的、陕西省目前唯一的一所涉外中、小学校。建校以来先后多次接待来自美国、韩国和台湾等地区的中、小学生夏令营，并招有外国留学生，由于学校管理严格，教学质量高，服务态度好，受到国内外广泛的赞誉与好评，与美、英、日、加拿大、韩国、澳大利亚、新加坡等国的院校保持着良好校际关系。我们热忱地欢迎英国学生前来我校举办夏令营，我们相信，我们会成为很好的朋友与合作伙伴。
为了使首次在我校举办的外国学生夏令营办得更好，我们做了如下日程安排，仅是我校单方面的意见，供合作方参考与讨论。
　　1、时间安排：从7月8日接机开始至7月28日送到机场结束，共安排四周21天。
　　2、整个夏令营的主线是学习汉语，学习中国历史、地理，开阔视野，了解中国。
　　3、三周中我们安排了7天购物及游览时间，基本上按照历史年代顺序排列安排参观日程，同时在游览兵马俑时我们增加了登骊山竞赛，以提高学生们的活动兴趣。
　　4、为达此目的，我们除安排正常上课以外，还安排了些到农村访问、旅游、观光内容，同时开展了丰富多彩的汉语学习，如书法练习，古诗词欣赏，中国古典音乐欣赏等课目，以增加学生的学习兴趣和修养。
　　5、为了提高学生们的学习兴趣，在夏令营期间我们组织了多次知识竞赛，并发小奖品，实践证明这是一种很好的学习方法。
　　6、7月27日晚饭安排会餐，餐后全体师生举行联欢活动，由于整个夏令营活动安排非常紧凑，营员生活丰富多彩，有时外出旅游起早出发或较晚回校，希望在组团时向营员说明。
　　7、根据我校情况，建议每组学生不少于35人，由乙方一名教师或工作人员带队，协助我方管理学生。首次办夏令营人数以三组105人为宜。但最少不得少于35人，否则学校不 好安排课程及活动时间。
　　8、对于个别严重违纪学生（如严重打架、斗殴、不服从管理等），我校将及时与贵方联系或与带队教师商议，令其回国。
　　9、我校将为营员提供一部长途电话，所有费用自理。如营员中有人带手提电脑要求上网者，上网费自理。
　　10、收费：由于是首次合作，我们仅以成本价计算收费，即每人每天30美元。

费用包括：
　　（1）机场接送费；
　　（2）住宿费；
　　（3）餐费（每天三餐、两点，三餐为自助餐形式，保证吃饱、吃好）；
　　（4）教师授课费；
　　（5）教材费；
　　（6）旅游空调车费；
　　（7）旅游景点第一门票费。

费用不包括：
　　（1）保险费；
　　（2）医药费；
　　（3）洗衣费；
　　（4）渭水园渡假村及桃花源渡假村所花费的一切费用均自付；
　　（5）长、短途电话费。

　　Xi'an, a city with rich culture and long history, is known as a living history book in China. It was the capital of13 feudal dynasties during the ruling period of 73 emperors. The many enchanting stories of its long history and the famous historic figures make it a mysterious yet charming place. The city witnessed the proud history of the Qin Emperor's unification of China, the powerful Han dynasty which had the vastest territory in Chinese history, and the most prosperous Tang Dynasty. It has become a great place for studying, traveling and sightseeing.

　　Xi'an Bo Ai International School, established in 1997, is located in the modern agricultural development zone in northern suburb of Xi'an. Covering an area of more than 13 thousand square meters and a floor area of more than 30 thousands square meters, the school building is large and well-equipped with high class facilities. All the rooms are air-conditioned. Private bathroom is available in each student dormitory. It is the only combined primary and middle school in Shaanxi province that is approved and authorized by the government to exchange programs with foreign countries. The school has hosted summer English camps for primary and middle school students from America, South Korea, Tai Wan of China and other regions. The school has gained wide recognition from both home and abroad for its high teaching quality, strict management and good service. Many overseas students have come to the school to study. We also establish good relationships with schools in countries like America, Britain, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Australia, and Singapore. We warmly welcome students from UK to our school for summer camp. We believe that we will be harvest friendship and good partner relationship.

　　In order to hold a successful summer camp for your students from UK, We have made the following proposals for the arrangement of the summer camp for discussion.

　　The summer camp will last 21 days, starting from July, 8, the airport pick-ups and ending on July 28, the transportation to airport for departure.
　　The main purpose of the summer camp is to learn Chinese language, Chinese history and geography, through which to learn more about China and to widen the horizons of the students.
Seven days are scheduled for shopping and sightseeing during the 3-week summer camp. The order to different sightseeing spots will be in chronological order of the historic sites. To intrigue the interests of the students, a mountain-climbing competition will be organized at Li Shan Mountain when visiting the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum.
　　In spite of the regular classes, we are also scheduled to visit the rural villages, sightseeing and a variety of extra-curriculum such as practicing Chinese calligraphy, poetry and classic music to keep the the students' interest in learning.
　　Our experience proved that it is also a very good practice to hold knowledge contests and use little prizes during the summer camp as a way to stimulate and encourage the student to learn.
In the evening of July 27, there will be a get-together dinner followed by a party participated in by all the teachers and students. The activities of the summer camp will be rich and varied, but the schedule is also tight. Please inform the students/participants of that in advance.
　　Considering the situation of our school, it is suggested that each group is composed of not less than 35 students and led by a teacher or a staff from your side to assist our school to discipline the students. The best size of the first summer camp is 105 student participants in 3 groups. But, each group must have at least 35 people. Otherwise, it is not easy for our school to make arrangement.
If any student violates the rules (e.g. fight with others, disobey the administration), our school will contact you immediately or negotiate with the leader of the student group, or ask the student to leave the program.
　　Our school will provide a telephone with long-distance phone call service, but the students are responsible for their phone bills. If any student participant requests to use the Internet service on his own lap top, he/she must pay for it.
　　The fee for participating in the summer camp is 30 US dollars a day per person, which is only the cost prize of the program, considering it is the first time for us to cooperate.
